Make-over!

As you may have noticed Katie e Johnson Photography has had a make-over! There are a lot of changes I've wanted to make to my blog for a while, but I always find myself returning to my original layout. Setting a future date for the full make-over of my blog really did help as I prepared several things in advance.

So just outlining the changes there are now 6 pages instead of the original 1 page. These are as follows...

- My Verbal Photography!: Insight of my passion for photography and lifestyle.
- Testimonials: Displaying the kindest of words from viewers and customers, showcasing their favourite photo from my work.
- Portfolio: An easy way to view specific topics/posts that range from the opening of my blog.
- © All rights reserved: reserved rights regarding the usage of my photos.
- Get In Touch: Giving viewers the opportunity to contact me.

So with the transformation of Katie e Johnson Photography comes some good news. As previously mentioned in my additions post my brother is soon to be home from his 2 year mission in Canada. Soon meaning less than 11 hours now. 11 hours you say yes that's right, it's flown by even the last two weeks which I personally thought would drag. As you can guess me and my family are all very excited for his return. You may think it's quite sad but admittedly we are tracking his second flight as we speak. I can confirm his plane has been in the air for 47 minutes and has a further 70 minutes till he lands at he next airport. From there he will catch his last and final flight, a time duration of 7 hours and 10 minutes.

So anyway here is the new banner for my blog, topping off the completion of it's make-over. I hope you all like the new look and come to love the new layout :D

Winter Wonderland - Little Red Riding Hood

During the time I was taking photo's of my sister on the climbing frame and main feature of the park. I looked around and spotted this adorable-cute little girl, I couldn't take my eyes off her. Her mother was pushing her on the swing before she got off and took a little wander. I forced myself to ask her mother if it were possible for me to take some photos.

Her cute little red coat and black woolly hat just topped off her outfit, like she was perfect for a children's fashion magazine. As she wandered, I traced her steps and captured her sweet little personality. Hence to the fact that this is why I have called her and this post 'Little Red Riding Hood'.

Butlins 2011 - Part 5

Well after all the past photo shoots and college work I've been buried in I have finally come full circle back to last years Butlins Holiday. Since the weather has been so nice recently and I've been stuck in doors I thought it was the perfect time to post the next part of our 2011 Butlins Holiday, So here is part 5.

Whilst taking photos of my cousins (especially Natasha). I later caught a glimpse of Daniel and Nathan making a sand castle, after time and effort the sand castle was eventually destroyed by Daniel himself, taking a run up and then bombing himself on top. After which Natasha and Nathan helped bury Daniel in a blanket of sand, trying to cover every inch of his body, apart from his head of course.

Winter Wonderland - Claire has a go!

For some time now my sister Claire, has always been in front of the lens and so for a change she wanted to have a go. Taking photos of me and Katie Ellis, she happily directed and enjoyed having a play with my camera.

Most recently Claire has made two of her very own blogs, which she intends to use to share her thoughts, impressions and inspirations. Along side these photos she will be posting her trip to Vienna during the next couple of weeks. It's not every day I promote a blog(s) so here is my wonderful sister's two blogs and yes she is a Harry Potter Fan!!

Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip & Princess Katherine Visit Leicester - Taster

Today I joined the city in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Tour. With hundreds of excited faces, flying flags, cold hands, aching bodies and plenty of cameras the city received and recorded an event that will certainly go down in history.
