Winter Wonderland - Little Red Riding Hood

During the time I was taking photo's of my sister on the climbing frame and main feature of the park. I looked around and spotted this adorable-cute little girl, I couldn't take my eyes off her. Her mother was pushing her on the swing before she got off and took a little wander. I forced myself to ask her mother if it were possible for me to take some photos.

Her cute little red coat and black woolly hat just topped off her outfit, like she was perfect for a children's fashion magazine. As she wandered, I traced her steps and captured her sweet little personality. Hence to the fact that this is why I have called her and this post 'Little Red Riding Hood'.

Butlins 2011 - Part 5

Well after all the past photo shoots and college work I've been buried in I have finally come full circle back to last years Butlins Holiday. Since the weather has been so nice recently and I've been stuck in doors I thought it was the perfect time to post the next part of our 2011 Butlins Holiday, So here is part 5.

Whilst taking photos of my cousins (especially Natasha). I later caught a glimpse of Daniel and Nathan making a sand castle, after time and effort the sand castle was eventually destroyed by Daniel himself, taking a run up and then bombing himself on top. After which Natasha and Nathan helped bury Daniel in a blanket of sand, trying to cover every inch of his body, apart from his head of course.

Winter Wonderland - Fosse Recreation Ground

Here's a little background information, so you already know that on the 5th of February we had snow but besides the weather it was a Sunday.

Now normally on a Sunday I would get up, have my breakfast, wash my face, brush my teeth squeaky clean and begin getting ready for Church. But because of the weather, around about 6am my mum received a phone call from the bishop stating that church was to be cancelled. This then put me in a position of having nothing to do.

Nothing to do!! you might ask hehehe, well ever since we were little we have had these rules as a family to avoid any day-to-day activities and tasks such as using the computer, laptop, xbox etc. on a Sunday. And well we've all tried to keep within those rules unless there is any serious need to go against them. So I couldn't edit or finish photo's or anything like that so that's why I had nothing to do. 

I would have read a book but as much as I hate the snow and the cold I couldn't resist the need to take some photo's. I had a feeling that this snow wasn't going to hang around forever so immediate action was what I went with. Ringing my best friend up...yeh you guessed it...Katie Ellis, inviting her to join us. Me, Claire and Katie headed out to the Fosse Recreation Ground. 

Whilst taking some photos, I bumped into two girls making a snow man and igloo. After asking for their mother's permission, I quickly took some shots and then we moved over to the play area. Last time I took photos here it was raining and we didn't have umbrella's. But today I was back taking photo's in the snow.

The Little Knights - Part 3

Finally we made it to the park, the boys went on the round about doing all kinds of things on it. After they got bored on that we then moved to a giant log which had recently been cut down, evidently there were wood shavings and lots of hidden lady birds. As the boys played on the log I snapped away catching some funny faces of the cheeky monkeys :) Enjoy!
