Brothers Homecoming...

So as I mentioned in my last post, I and the family were tracking my brothers flights as he was on his way home from a 2 year LDS based mission. Serving in Winnipeg, Canada.

After I posted the 'Make-over' post I was up for another 2 hours and eventually caved in for my sleep. The following morning having set my alarm for 4am I got up and started to make preparations for the 'Welcome Home' get together party. Sticking up the window banner, fetching the pre-ironed 'Team Chris' T-shirts, typing in advance texts and saving them to drafts for when we had our brother in our arms. It was very exhilarating to think that none of which was going to happen did my brother know of.

Our lift, which was by the lovely Aaron Toogood who arrived at 5:45am. We then made our way down to the airport and walked into the arrivals. Tracking his last flight on my phone found that he would soon be landing within the next 6 minutes. We could visibly see where the planes would be landing and taking off, in fact during the time we waited at least 3 planes took off. After finding out that the first two planes would be delayed, our brother's flight would be the first one to land of the day. Soon after, we saw his plane land and passengers started to come through arrivals. After 737 days of interesting emails, awesome photos and hilarious stories the adrenaline certainly kicked in.

Then it was it, there he was with his big suitcase in one hand small suitcase in the other. Walking up the little arrivals ramp, with his head down and smile on his face he was finally home. It was the most happiest moment of our lives, the Johnson family back together again.

Skittles!

So I'm just sitting here editing photos, whilst munching on some skittles and I don't know what I was thinking but I decided to make a little art with them. I wouldn't actually call it art, more of a edible-art if you get my drift. But any how I decided to take some photos and show you guys, I guess you can tell/see what it depicts.

Summer Is Here! - Part 2

During our day out, I gave Katie my old camera for her to get used to as of next summer she may be having it as a permanent device for her life blog. Walking towards the Pet Corner we past a small vegetable garden which was filled with ripe and vibrant vegetables and plants. Then moving onto the Pet Corner where Claire admired the animals and Katie took shots of the beautiful birds. Enjoy!

Simple Beauty, My sister often complains about the fact that she's ugly and doesn't like her appearance. I disagree, her most amazing feature is her eyes and I would never deny this fact because it's true. 

Kelling Heath Holiday - Part 5

Reaching Sheringham we walked down to the beach to find a spot where we could eat for lunch. Whilst Katie and her family sat and ate, I took a walk along the pebbled beach and enjoyed the peaceful tranquillity of the atmosphere. The gentle breeze mixed in with the smell of the salty sea water and light drops of rain helped me to feel calm, safe and somewhat felt like home.

Before holiday Claire had something in her leg, deep under the skin for 4 months.

When at the flat/apartment, I had ago at removing what ever was hidden. Well it bounced out of her skin very inhumanely after a bit of tweaking. Here is the photo I took which displays a thorn, placed next to a pencil to get the real sense of the size.
