Butlins 2011 - Part 7

After breakfast we headed back to the chalet and I thought since it was the last full day I could capture some of the main features of Butlins, that have been there ever since I was little. The accommodation, fair, Skyline Pavilion, arcade, beach, breakfast areas, nursery, outdoor and indoor play areas.

Later on after swimming, I asked my family for a photo outside the skyline pavilion, despite the fact I took about ten photos, this one was the best one. The wind was blowing quite hard so that's why everyone looks a bit windswept. Also mum and dad were talking at the time even though I'd told them off a few times, but ah well, it's a good photo nonetheless. Then of course my auntie suggested a photo of me with my sis and parents, as it was 'one of the first family holidays without Chris'.

Then just before we went into the 'end of Butlins holiday show' I noticed the beautiful evening sunset as we walked from the chalet to the skyline. I know my best friend loves sunsets so I just had to capture this moment especially for her.

Butlins 2011 - Part 6

After taking two days out of my holiday for myself, without my camera and just simply spending time with the family. On Thursday morning, our 7th day of our Butlins holiday, my camera was back in business. Starting the day with the traditional morning walk with my cousins, we made our way to the sandy football pitch where they of course wanted to play football.

Typically I was wearing the wrong shoes to play football as it was quite hot that morning, so I sat at the side chearing on both teams. Just as our parents arrived I was in the middle of takening a photo of the blue morning sky.

Mum came and sat near me and I filled her in on scores, once we were all hungry we left for breakfast. Passing the Volkswagen bus and Beach chair scenary, Claire, Mum and Dad had wanted some photos taken on both especially Dad. So I thought I might as well do them as we where here and it was such a gorgeous day.

Mum just being her normal self...

...Cousins and sis have a kick about on the pitch...

...Smile your going to the Skegness Beach...

...Claire. Driving. No she's just pretending...

...Mum: "does the photographer want a photo"
Me: "nah it's cool"
Mum: "go on otherwise we're not gonna have any of you this holiday"
Me: "Ok fine" :)...

...one...two...three...JUMP!

Butlins 2011 - Part 5

Well after all the past photo shoots and college work I've been buried in I have finally come full circle back to last years Butlins Holiday. Since the weather has been so nice recently and I've been stuck in doors I thought it was the perfect time to post the next part of our 2011 Butlins Holiday, So here is part 5.

Whilst taking photos of my cousins (especially Natasha). I later caught a glimpse of Daniel and Nathan making a sand castle, after time and effort the sand castle was eventually destroyed by Daniel himself, taking a run up and then bombing himself on top. After which Natasha and Nathan helped bury Daniel in a blanket of sand, trying to cover every inch of his body, apart from his head of course.

Butlins 2011 - Part 4

After three days of holiday and the peace of it just being us four. The rest of the family came to join us, which was exciting for all of us. I guess the best part for me was waiting to see which one of my uncle's and their families would get here first. At the time of there arrival we were playing snooker in the Green Baize...
...Later on after dinner I went with the rest of the family, over to the Beach Corner. The adults had a chat, whilst I took some photos of my cousins having a mess around on the set. Natasha the only female cousin I have is a little star in the making, she loves being photographed and wanted to be taken against everything in the Beach Corner. Directing me were she wanted to be, what she wanted to be in front of and sometimes which angle I should take it from. When she's older I know she will become whatever she chooses to be and she will profit from who she is as an individual.
